Our foundation subjects play a vital role in providing a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum for all children. Alongside English and mathematics, these subjects help to develop creativity, curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around us. Through a wide range of experiences, children are encouraged to explore, ask questions and express themselves in different ways.

From art and music to history, geography and computing, our curriculum is designed to inspire a love of learning and support the development of key skills across all areas. We place a strong emphasis on hands-on, practical learning, allowing children to investigate, create and discover in a supportive and stimulating environment.

As children move through Nursery, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, they build knowledge and confidence within each subject, developing independence and resilience along the way. Our aim is to ensure every child feels motivated, engaged and proud of their achievements, while gaining the skills they need for the next stage of their education.
