In-Year Admissions
An in-year admission is when a child already attends a school but wants to transfer to another school outside of the usual transfer time, for example because the child is moving to a new address. These transfers take place during the school year, which is why they are called in-year admissions.
If you are thinking of moving your child to our school please click HERE for Kirklees Information on In-year Admissions.

Our Nursery Admissions
The priorities for admission to Nursery are similar to those shown above, except that we treat in-area siblings and other in-area children as one group. Children from the priority admission area are admitted in birth date order. Children living outside the priority area are admitted in order of the distance from their home, measured in a straight line, taking the nearest first. We may give additional priority to children with special educational and social needs.
All school policies are available for perusal from the head teacher. We will endeavour to provide a policy in other languages upon request. All documents made available under the School Regulations are sited in the head teacher's office and can be viewed by arrangement with the head teacher. You can download a copy of our nursery application form below or or come to school the office to collect a paper copy.
Admission appeals for mainstream academies
If your child has not been offered a place at your preferred school, you have the right to appeal the decision. Appeals for Kirklees schools are managed by Kirklees Council and must be submitted using the online School Admissions Appeal Form via the Kirklees Parent Portal. Further information about the appeals process, including deadlines and guidance, can be found on the Kirklees Council Admissions Appeals webpages. If you require support with submitting an appeal, you can contact the Kirklees Pupil Admissions Team for advice.
